How would you describe what you do?
Whatever it is, I try to follow the motto “Once you do something, do it properly”.
What is design for you?
The service to people (which does not necessarily imply a charge).
How did you get to work with TABLO?
With Jirka Novotný, we decided to establish TABLO when worked on one project together. By that time, I had been running my own design store for the third year.
What personality infuences you?
No specific, I think. Generally, people which I can appreciate something, whether for creativity, morality, political opinion, life attitude… always such with a healthy mind. When someone or something is too radical, I escape.
What book do you have on the bedside table?
I am a slowreader, but there are design theories, some professional magazines, catalogs of trade fairs, and some prose.
What was your favorite school subject?
It used to be influenced by teachers. In the first grade, it was mathematics (we got a young Mr. teacher :-).
The journey of your dreams?
Once return to the west coast of Canada.

You’re rather a designer-manager. Are you missing the designing?
No, but I can not rule out that once I won’t design something again.
